For 2025, Machu Picchu’s circuits have been reorganized into distinct routes. Below, you’ll find a brief overview of what to expect from each route.

Your entrance ticket is valid strictly on the date, time, and single route selected at purchase. Changing the ticket holder’s name or travel date is generally not allowed, although you may update the passport or national ID number if it belongs to the same person.

The Ministry of Culture does not issue refunds or reimbursements, except in rare cases of unforeseen events or force majeure that prevent arrival and entry to Machu Picchu. Under those circumstances, rescheduling both the date and time of your visit may be permitted.
